Radio host, VJ, voice over and Beatmaker all at the same time, VocalTeknix is a DJ from the East of France. Now living in the Ile de France, he is also a video programmer since September 2008 for the media network Trace Urban and most recently, the host of the show TRACE VIDEO MIX.
A music lover and always on the look-out of new sounds
Strongly influenced by Hip-Hop and Dancehall, VocalTeknix, constantly tries to bring new sounds to his work, easily mixing still unknown genres in France or styles reminding his Cape Verdeans origins. When he is asked to talk about his profession, here's what he tells us: « my goal is that my audience have fun and according to me, to have fun, you have to go through mixing genres. Don't stick to only one particular style, I love mixing urban sounds such as Hip-Hop, R&B or even caribbean rhythms like dancehall or Afro pop. I'm fascinated by the English culture, their musical avant-gardism impresses me and I also like mixing more electro sounds like funky house, dubstep or even trap music.

Ambitious worker, he is riddled up with new ideas, VocalTeknix collaborates with the music channel Trace Urban on TRACE VIDEO MIX. Since September 7th 2013, he is hosting a show featuring music hits, new sounds and mashups ; visual creations made by himself and DJs all around the world. An original and novative concept broadcasted in 150 countries, reflecting the constant renewal of the artist.
